Talking parrots are the only obvious talking animals but recently that has all changed. We now have a talking beluga whale, singing mice and a talking elephant that speaks Korean!!!!!!!

So an original very plain-looking snail, is now known as the zombie snail.
Now it is not dead. So technically it is not a zombie snail. But they have eaten parasites that control their brain. So basically mind controlling. So the parasites control its brain and antennas. It is all a plan to extend the parasites life. So the snail is the parasites hosts/hostess.
They will not stay in the snail. The snail is their transportation, they are looking for a better hostess. They are viewing to posses birds. So the antennas have began to resemble maggots, a birds favorite food. So just like planned the birds swoop down, and eat the snails the parasites are triumphant. They are happily multiplying in the birds stomach. Then they will complete the birds cycle and come out in bird poop which will then be eaten by snails and the cycle repeats.
This is the Physarum Polycephalum otherwise known as slime. According to National Geographic, this slime has a memory but no brain. They know where they have been because of the trail of slime they leave.
